Self-made tool: combine press and bale wrapper

Description

Jean-Luc Gaultier has been pressing and wrap-ping in a single tractor run for 15 years. For this, he wears a press (New Hollande Rollbelt 150) to the tractor and a wrapper (Mc Hale HS2000 Bale Wrapper) to the press. This technique, much less expensive than the purchase of a a combined baler/bale wrapper, however is not very widespread in our campaigns.

Reason for the innovation

The farmer is alone on his farm. He had to find a solution to make his wrap-ping yards quickly and cheaply.

This allows him to maximize his chances of making a quality wrapping in the best conditions.

For this innovation, the only difficulty is the acquisition of a good handling technique. In addition, it is necessary to be careful when there is a slope so that the ball stays in the axis of the wrapper.

Why it is working

This innovation can work on all plots that can be mechanized and do not show a steep slope.

Wrapping assumes that the farmer can impose rationing this feed.
